Samuel Rostam is a senior technical advisor and an adjunct professor at Ney York Institute of Technology in Cybersecurity program.
He has extensive experience in developing digital strategies, business architecture blueprints with governance frameworks essential for establishing roadmaps in AI, BigData, Service integration and Cloud adoption, at the same time managing business risks successfully. Clients include a wide range of industries including US and Canadian Government agencies, as well as start-ups in eHealth and Blockchain. Previously in California, he was a Senior Enterprise Consultant at Sun Microsystems, focusing primarily on EAI projects for Fortune 100 US customers. Since 2010 he has been conducting technical workshops for globally recognized certification programs, including Machine Learning, AI, Bigdata science, Blockchain Architecture, Cloud Architecture, SOA Architecture, Service Security & Governance, plus Business Architecture with BizBok & TOGAF. Samuel is an expert in leveraging Design Patterns as reusable proven solutions for establishing an architectural framework while communicating with the stakeholders a predictable business outcome regardless of the technical complexities. He completed an MSc in Computing Science at SFU, with partial studies at a PhD program at the University of British Columbia. Samuel has extensive hands-on experience with several public Cloud platforms in particular AWS, software design and development, agile projects, Web services, API design, middleware integration, performance tuning, containers, security, and governance systems.
